Licensees’ Responsibility: Continuing education (CE) requirements vary by state and are periodically revised. It is the responsibility of licensees to ensure courses meet their licensing state's CE requirements.
The NASW-CA Online CE Program is an approved provider through the following entities:
- California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
- National Association of Social Workers (NASW), and
- Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers.

Michigan State Board of Social Workers
Michigan State Board of Social Work accepts CEs that have been approved by another State's Board of Social Work and, for this reason, accepts NASW-CA Online CEUs. For questions, visit NASW-MI website.
Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers, CEP 19-1011
The NASW-CA Online CE Program is approved through the Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers. The required “ethics” coursework must address professional boundaries, confidentiality, and dual relationships. View details. For questions, email NV.gov.
