Your privacy is very important to NASW-CA.
When one registers or purchases a continuing education course through the NASW-CA EmpowerEd Program, the chapter collects and stores information provided to better serve customers' professional needs. Information provided by registrants is used in the following manner:
- Measure site activity
- Advise customers about new or special services or events
- Respond to customer requests
NASW-CA does not sell or provide your email address to outside parties. NASW-CA does not share aggregate information with other parties. "Aggregate" information describes the usage patterns and/or demographics of users as a group.
NASW-CA works to protect the security of customers' information by conducting transmissions over a server connection. The secure connection encrypts the information sent to customers and the information that customers send to NASW-CA.
Each registrant will be given a user name and password. It is important that registrants protect against unauthorized access to their password. Registrants must be sure to sign off when they are finished, particularly when using a computer that is shared.
